Fresh Models Launches in Lagos to Discover and Develop Nigeria’s Next Generation of Global Talent

Positioned at the intersection of talent development and global opportunity, Fresh Models aims to redefine industry standards in Nigeria by building a pipeline of world-class models equipped for both local and international markets.

“Fresh Models was created to bridge the gap between raw talent in Nigeria and the structure required to compete globally,” said Polo. “We’re not just signing models—we’re developing them with intention, discipline, and a clear understanding of the industry.”

Operating out of Lagos, the agency combines representation with hands-on training through its academy, offering aspiring models access to professional development in runway, posing, and industry knowledge—an approach still relatively rare within the Nigerian modeling landscape.

The agency has already begun building a roster of promising new faces, including Damilola OdebiyiEmmanuel Johnson, and Emerald Godwin, three emerging talents being positioned for both domestic campaigns and international placements.

With Lagos continuing to gain recognition as a rising fashion capital, Fresh Models enters the market with a clear mission: to elevate Nigerian talent onto the global stage while maintaining a strong foundation at home.

Fresh Models is now accepting new talent through its weekly open calls, held every Friday and Saturday in Lagos.

Vendors operating independently on Instagram and WhatsApp have no way to systematically reach customers or maintain booking accountability. The Celevend Solution Celevend addresses this directly. What Mintslate Media’s Job Seekers Teaches Us About Politeness, Power, And Survival At Work

Politeness is often praised as professionalism. But in many workplaces, it is also a form of control. Mintslate Media’s upcoming psychological horror film Job Seekers examines how politeness operates as an unspoken rule within professional systems, especially when power is uneven and opportunity is scarce. Rather than presenting the workplace as neutral, the film reveals how survival can depend on silence, compliance, and emotional restraint. Founded in February 2025 by filmmaker Seyi Oluwatimilehin, Mintslate Media was created to tell stories rooted in lived experience. Job Seekers, directed by Seyi Oluwatimilehin and Alan Vega, reflects that vision by centering its story on Maya, a young immigrant attending a job interview that could determine her right to stay. “One of the reasons I founded Mintslate Media was to tell stories that are real, stories that are relatable, honest, and true to our time and existence,” Seyi Oluwatimilehin says. “Every one of these films carries a piece of ...
