Journita AI Reinvents Travel Through Artificial Intelligence, Flight Optimization, and Social Collaboration

Journita AI, an AI-powered travel and lifestyle platform, is transforming how travellers discover destinations, search for affordable flights, plan trips, book travel services, and coordinate travel experiences through a single intelligent conversational interface. The company is building a new category within Travel Technology by combining artificial untelligence, travel planning, travel booking, and community-driven experiences into one seamless platform.

Founded by Olamide Orija, a technology entrepreneur, growth strategist, and

Mechanical Engineering graduate of Bells University of Technology, Journita AI was born from firsthand travel experiences across multiple African countries. During those journeys, Orija encountered the challenges of fragmented travel planning, unreliable travel information, connectivity issues, and the need to switch between multiple platforms to complete a single trip.

According to Orija, those frustrations revealed an opportunity to simplify the travel experience through technology.

"Travel planning is often fragmented. People move between different platforms for flights, accommodation, transportation, connectivity, and itinerary planning," he said. "We wanted to build a platform that brings everything together through a single intelligent interface, making travel simpler and more accessible."

Unlike traditional travel platforms that focus on only one part of the journey, Journita AI integrates multiple services into a unified experience. Travellers can discover destinations, generate personalized itineraries, compare travel options, coordinate schedules, and complete bookings through conversational prompts powered by AI.

One of the platform's standout capabilities is its intelligent flight discovery engine. Rather than manually searching across multiple websites, users can simply ask questions such as "What's the cheapest date to fly from Lagos to London in September?" or "Find me the cheapest flights to Dubai next month." The AI analyzes available options, identifies the most affordable travel dates and routes, recommends alternatives, and facilitates bookings directly through the platform.

The company is also helping travelers simplify other parts of their journeys. Users can book hotels, organize airport transfers, arrange local transportation, and access eSIM connectivity solutions designed to help travellers stay connected when visiting new destinations. By bringing these services together, Journita AI aims to reduce the complexity that often accompanies travel planning.

As demand for AI travel solutions continues growing globally, Journita AI is positioning itself at the forefront of ravel innovation by making artificial intelligence practical and accessible for everyday travellers. The platform's Travel Assistant capabilities enable users to receive recommendations, estimate travel costs, discover activities, and build customized travel plans based on their preferences and budgets.

Beyond travel planning and travel booking, the company is introducing a new dimension to social travel through collaborative trip creation and group coordination. Users can create public trips, discover trips created by other travellers, join travel communities, and collaborate on shared travel experiences.

Within these groups, travellers can simply tag @journitaai to generate itineraries, compare travel options, estimate expenses, coordinate schedules, and receive travel-related assistance in real time.

According to Orija, this collaborative model reflects how people naturally experience travel.

"Travel has always been a shared experience, yet most travel tools are designed for individuals," he said. "We are creating an environment where travellers can plan together, learn from one another, and use AI to remove much of the complexity involved in coordinating trips."

The startup's progress has attracted recognition from leading global technology ecosystem programs. Journita AI has been accepted into the NVIDIA Inception Program, awarded $25,000 in AWS Credits through the AWS Startups Program, and accepted into the Google for Startups Cloud Program. These recognitions highlight the company's innovation potential and growing presence within the African Startup ecosystem.

The company has also secured partnerships across travel, mobility, and connectivity categories while building a platform capable of planning, coordinating, and booking

travel experiences from a single interface. Journita AI reports a fast-growing user base and early revenue generation ahead of public launch, indicating growing demand for a more integrated travel platform.

Supporting the company's vision is a multidisciplinary leadership team. Alongside Founder and Chief Executive Officer Olamide Orija, the company is led by co-founder and chief technology officer Kolade Adeola, who oversees technology strategy, engineering operations, and product innovation. Abiodun Hodonu, Head of Operations and Product, leads product strategy and growth initiatives, while Adeola Praise Ololade, Principal Engineer, oversees backend systems, AI engineering, cloud infrastructure, and the technology powering the platform's intelligent travel experiences.

As Artificial Intelligence continues reshaping consumer experiences across industries, Journita AI is positioning itself within a growing generation of Travel Technology companies seeking to simplify how people discover destinations, compare travel options, access the cheapest flights, book accommodation, stay connected through eSIM services, and coordinate journeys through intelligent digital experiences.

The company's growth also reflects the increasing impact of African-founded technology companies building globally relevant products while demonstrating how Artificial Intelligence can improve travel planning, group travel coordination, and community-driven travel experiences for users around the world.

What Mintslate Media’s Job Seekers Teaches Us About Politeness, Power, And Survival At Work

Politeness is often praised as professionalism. But in many workplaces, it is also a form of control. Mintslate Media’s upcoming psychological horror film Job Seekers examines how politeness operates as an unspoken rule within professional systems, especially when power is uneven and opportunity is scarce. Rather than presenting the workplace as neutral, the film reveals how survival can depend on silence, compliance, and emotional restraint. Founded in February 2025 by filmmaker Seyi Oluwatimilehin, Mintslate Media was created to tell stories rooted in lived experience. Job Seekers, directed by Seyi Oluwatimilehin and Alan Vega, reflects that vision by centering its story on Maya, a young immigrant attending a job interview that could determine her right to stay. “One of the reasons I founded Mintslate Media was to tell stories that are real, stories that are relatable, honest, and true to our time and existence,” Seyi Oluwatimilehin says. “Every one of these films carries a piece of ...
