How KFC Nigeria's Nationwide BOGO Bucket Deal Now Includes 4 New Dips

KFC Nigeria is giving customers another reason to visit its outlets, with the brand rolling out a nationwide Buy 1 Get 1 Free promotion on its signature Chicken Bucket meals, now with four new dips. The one-day offer was valid on August 19.

Under the promotion, customers who purchased any Chicken Bucket meal  available in 8-piece, 12-piece and 21-piece options received a second bucket of the same size at no extra cost, along with four additional dips.

Each bucket comes with four dip sauces, including Mayo, BBQ and Suyannaise, while customers can mix and match their preferred dip flavours across both the paid and complimentary portions of the order.

The promotion was available simultaneously across KFC stores in nine locations: Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Kano, Akure, Ilorin, Sagamu and Ibadan, highlighting the brand’s continued expansion across major and emerging commercial centres in Nigeria.

For families, groups and value-conscious customers, the offer provided an opportunity to get twice the chicken for the price of one bucket, making it a notable fast-food value promotion.

Commenting on the promotion, Mariam Busari, MCIM, ARPA, KFC Nigeria’s Head of Sales & Marketing, said the initiative was designed not only to drive store visits but also to appreciate the brand’s loyal customers.

“Yes, we want customers walking into our stores, but that’s not the full picture for us,” she said. “This is really about rewarding the loyalty that our customers have shown KFC over time. It’s our way of saying we see you, and we appreciate you.”

Abhishek Kumar, Head of Operations, described the coordinated rollout across nine cities as a reflection of the company’s operational standards.

“A promo like this, executed at the same time across nine cities without compromise, is what operational excellence looks like and that’s embedded in our DNA as a brand,” he said.

He added that the campaign was also rooted in the spirit of togetherness associated with KFC’s bucket meals.

“More than that, though, this is about family and about sharing, which is really what a bucket of KFC has always been about.”

KFC Nigeria had confirmed that the offer would not be extended beyond August 19, advising customers to visit early to take advantage of the one-day promotion amid anticipated high demand.

What Mintslate Media’s Job Seekers Teaches Us About Politeness, Power, And Survival At Work

Politeness is often praised as professionalism. But in many workplaces, it is also a form of control. Mintslate Media’s upcoming psychological horror film Job Seekers examines how politeness operates as an unspoken rule within professional systems, especially when power is uneven and opportunity is scarce. Rather than presenting the workplace as neutral, the film reveals how survival can depend on silence, compliance, and emotional restraint. Founded in February 2025 by filmmaker Seyi Oluwatimilehin, Mintslate Media was created to tell stories rooted in lived experience. Job Seekers, directed by Seyi Oluwatimilehin and Alan Vega, reflects that vision by centering its story on Maya, a young immigrant attending a job interview that could determine her right to stay. “One of the reasons I founded Mintslate Media was to tell stories that are real, stories that are relatable, honest, and true to our time and existence,” Seyi Oluwatimilehin says. “Every one of these films carries a piece of ...
